Happy Sunday! I don’t typically publish the weekly Self Friendship Article this late in the week, but this article has been brewing, and it simply wasn’t time yet. I couldn’t bring myself to write an article about anything else — this one needed all my article energy. This week I was exiting my most recent cocoon so I couldn’t possibly share with you what I was still self-reflecting and self-connecting about.

Each of my articles are extremely tied to my current thought-wave and it doesn’t feel genuine to dig into something else, even if it’s also true at the time, there’s just something about the given article I’m writing that I feel particularly connected to creating. I believe the strength of MY connection also directly correlates to the strength of YOUR connection to what I’m sharing.

That reminds me -- SUPER COOL SIDE NOTE before we dig into this cool cocoon — I was sharing my book with these people I met at a really cool shop called Siki here in Daikanyama, Tokyo, and despite our massive language barrier, the woman managed to say to me that she could feel I put SO MUCH LOVE into my book. Her exact words were, “You have BIG LOVE energy. This (book) has so much love.” I was like, “wow. you can feel it.” — Intellectually, of courseeeeee we can all feel the energy that is put into our creations. However, receiving that from someone, was WOW.

Alrighty, let’s backtrack for a second —

I personally choose to consciously lean into my cocoon phases of life well beyond a metaphorical sense. I literally create the space in my life to hyper focus on grounding into this necessary transitional phase of my existence. And, perhaps most importantly, I’m always excited about it. I show up as my Party of One — having fun with myself, for myself, as myself.

Pre-Cocoon — Leading up to this cocoon I faced A LOT of extremely valuable mirrors in my life. It was the final cycle of a variety of mirrors all at once. Prettttyyyy intense. I showed up as my highest self yet, YET still facing the same mirrors — naturally, in their highest form too. Recognizing this and consciously choosing DIFFERENTLY, I initiated new outcomes and the path for my cocoon…
